How is the range of the WLAN compared to other LTE routers? I am looking for an LTE router with WLAN with the largest possible range (private house) so that I can do without a repeater.
I've had this route for some time now. It has a much better range than its predecessor (TP Link Archer MR200) I can only recommend the product. The antennas are plugged in. If necessary, you can also extend them or align them accordingly...
This is very difficult to answer in general. However, the router uses the 2.4 GHz radio bands and therefore the range is rather higher compared to 5 GHz routers. However, many factors play a role, such as the condition of the walls and ceilings, as well as interference frequencies from other networks.
With a wired external antenna depending on the local provider, Sunrise 900Mhz, Salt 1800Mhz or Swisscom 800Mhz.
The location can be determined via Bakom antenna locations. and ask the local municipality which provider it is. Reception is then possible up to 150mb/s, as in my case. For questions https://www.fischersat.ch Radio relay technology
