Question about Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link

I don't know how the technology behind it works exactly, but the air is not cooled during cooling. It's more like a strong wind current. Only when heating does the air temperature actually increase, a good 30 - 40 degrees if you hold your hand directly in front of it.

Air conditioners always need two components or, in the case of the cheap ones, a hose to remove the warm air. Obviously, the Dyson has neither, so it is just a fan that does not cool the air. The "Cool" in "Hot + Cool" is pure marketing-speak.
