How will you connect the router to the same network if you have a cable connection? Via W-LAN? Can you clarify your question a bit?

If Swisscom router was an Asus then you can connect via Aimesh. I have connected my new GT-AX11000 with the old AC68U without cable and it works very well. I think it is not possible to connect Swisscom router with Asus router without cable. But I am not sure.
