Question about ASUS WL-Router RT-BE88U

Hi, I am reading in the reviews and in the Q&A section that it is possible to use this router with Init7's Fiber7 service. The technician has installed the OTO plug, and Init7 has confirmed that the plug is active. Nevertheless, when I insert the SFP module from Flexoptix (which was sent by Init7) with the provided cable, the WAN icon on the router is solid red, and the SFP+ port does not light up. The WAN setting is correctly set to "SFP+," and no other changes have been made to the router's configuration, apart from the basic installation changes (like the SSID and admin login).
