Question about FRITZ! Box 5530 Fiber AON International
Hi. I have received the latest router from Sunrise (sunrise internet box fiber for 10 GB, which looks like a humidifier). However, I would like to connect an IP telephone exchange via SIP protocol. This does not work with this router and I really want to continue using my telephone system. What are the solutions for me? Should I buy a Fritzbox 5490 or 5530? Or can Sunrise provide it for me? The speed is not so important to me. 1 GB is enough. But if I get more, all the better. Thank you very much.
@noel Staub Digitec has the 5530 with XGS-PON in its shop. Doesn't it work?
Since you have a 10 Gigabit/s connection, you are using XGS-PON technology. Only routers approved by the provider can be used for this. Otherwise, I recommend connecting a router using a media converter, provided that Sunrise provides you with the required data. I would therefore advise you to contact Sunrise.
