My port is not like on the router. Do I need an adapter? Do I need to have a fibre optic connection installed by an electrician? I don't understand anything. Thank you for that clarification.

You get a cable modem from your Internet provider, you only have to connect it via LAN cable to the WAN port on the back of the router (yellow) and that's it :) You also get the modem cable from your Internet provider together with the modem and you simply connect this to the back of the modem and the other end to your cable socket.
