When connecting, it doesn't matter which firmware, press the screen symbol button and plus button simultaneously until Siri Remote is recognised by the Apple TV, if it still doesn't work, press another button and hold plus until it is recognised. The feel of the Siri Remote has been improved compared to the original remote control.
