Is there a warranty claim? I bought the thing because of 4k120hzhdr but I won't see it until I buy a new TV.

The problem affects all 2020 models from all manufacturers that have a corresponding Panasonic Solutions chip installed. So also this one.

I'm actually flirting with this model, but I'm wondering whether I can buy the device now and send it in as soon as a fix is available because of the warranty?
