Question about Devolo Magic 2 WiFi 6 Starter Kit
Hi all I bought the product a few months ago because I had very poor WiFi reception in my separate office and no way of running LAN cables or similar through it. Last month I reorganised the office a bit, which meant that all my devices (several notebooks, monitor, PS5 etc.) are now connected to a different socket and therefore no longer to the Devolo Magic. My subjective impression is that the performance and, above all, stability is now much better. Previously, there were repeated failures, which also led to severe restrictions on certain days. Since the changeover, everything has been pretty smooth and I can work with problems every day and at any time of day. What are your experiences? Could it be that the number of connected devices has a direct influence (at least it wouldn't be illogical)? Many thanks & best regards
Yes, of course that could be the case. It is definitely suboptimal if you use an extension cable (from the socket to the Devolo). This is because the extension cables have Lizze cores and no wire. It is of course just as problematic if the socket has been laid with a Lizze cable instead of real wires. So make sure you have good cable and wire connections.
Hi, I was having stability problems with my MAGIC 2 (impossible to do a VIDEO session). I started testing by changing the plug close to my desk and everything changed. The plug I was using was giving very bad speed information. Now everything is OK. So for those who have problems, try changing plugs. Mine is just in the next room. Best regards
