Hi all, what is the size of the sledge? So specifically I like to cut courgettes in length, what is the max length it can be? So from what I see in the photos I would have said about 15cm, is that right? Or a loaf, how wide can it be max? MFG Tabea

Hello, the distance from the carriage to the knife measures 14.5 cm.
The carriage measures 16 x 16 cm.
The cut material should not be larger than 14-15 cm (distance to the knife).
Courgettes can be cut very well and a 30 cm long specimen should be easy to cut/pull through *without the carriage*, directly on the support.
It's not a high-performance/professional/precision machine, but it's perfectly fine as a hand-operated bread, vegetable and cold-cut slicer.
