Question about Devolo Magic 2 WiFi next expansion
Hi all, we have a Devolo Magic 2 WiFi 2-1-1(2400Mbit/s) kit and are looking for an extension to 3 devices (Devolo Magic 2 WiFi extension 2-1-1). Can the single device of Devolo Magic 2 WiFi Extension 2-1-1 NEXT also be used, or do they not fit together? Greetings and thank you

Yes. We have four Magic 2 units, 3 with Wifi and 2 Ethernet connections each, one with only one Ethernet connection over 3 floors. All devices marked with Magic 2 are compatible and run without problems and are configurable and compatible with each other. (All old devices - not marked with Magic 2 - do not fit together. The description is unfortunately not very clear...). One device is, so to speak, the "home" device at the router (connected with Ethernet cable and feeds the signals e.g. Internet access into the E-network, the others all run as "slaves" and receive the signals via the home device or directly among themselves. Wifi runs in parallel via router (mesh) and/or via DLan, then Wifi via Devolo Magic 2 device in socket (e.g. in the basement).
