Hello, I'd like to know if it's possible for Dreame hoovers in general, and this one in particular, to resolve faults or repair the robot remotely from another home? For example, I'd like to install a robot at my grandparents' house and be able to help them remotely in the event of a problem, as they're not very tech-savvy. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Helpful answer

Hello Mathieu
I have been using the hoover for 2 or 3 weeks now.
I am totally satisfied with it and can only recommend it.
The robot reports every problem via the app (when something needs to be refilled, when something needs to be cleaned, when it gets stuck, etc.).
The robot automatically creates a map of the home, on which everything can be set via the app and individual rooms can be targeted.
The camera function with remote control has been removed here, which the previous model still had.
I hope I have been able to help you with this.

Hello Mathieu,
I have been using the robot for about a week now.
The only message I received was that the fresh water tank was empty.
Previously we had a Roborock; it always sent a push message when it sucked in a cable or got stuck somewhere, so you couldn't help remotely.
I suspect it will be similar with this model.
Greetings
