Question about Ubiquiti Enterprise 8 PoE
Hello, I would be very interested in this switch but when I read the reports like here, it stops me: https://community.ui.com/questions/USW-Enterprise-8-PoE-runs-hot-and-fans-dont-kick-in/b980cc5d-70b5-4518-8270-a9773bd103f1?page=1 The unit seems to get too hot and the manufacturer doesn't seem to do anything about it (70C+). Can Digitec say something about this? Is there a solution here? Thank you
Yes, mine also got up to almost 80 degrees. Especially the sfp+ modules got so warm.
200mm Noctua fan on it (fits perfectly) braked to 600rmp inaudible and 41 degrees are the result.
But yes, with such an expensive switch, it shouldn't get that far in the first place.
