Question about TechniSat Technician K4 ISIO
Hello, I received my TechniSat k4 the other day. My questions... Which external hard drive do I need to get for it? And what kind of connection cable? What do I need to look out for? Not mentioned in the operating instructions Many thanks for any advice

Any portable USB 2 or 3 hard disc fits the device. The storage capacity depends on the planned use. The connection cable is usually included with the portable hard disc, which is formatted and registered via the menu in the TechniSat device
I am using a Western Digital Blue 2.5" 500GB hard disc WD5000LPCX in an Icy Box IB-254U3 enclosure. A USB 3.0 data cable is included. That fits.
But it would also work with any other 2.5" HD.

There are USB 2 ports available. I simply connected a WDpassport that I still had.
I'm using a Samsung Portable T7 (2 GB) and the included USB-C -> USB-A cable, and that works just fine.
