How does the coating on this speaker age? I've heard that it's scratch-resistant, but I've seen comments on other Klipsch products in the same series which say that the surface is very fragile and quickly takes marks.

In my case the LS are great. But I have placed them in one place and I don't touch or move them at all...the speakers have experienced the rein and have suffered nothing in the rein...

Hello, I have the speakers in my living room without any risk of damage. They still look immaculate after 2 years, I am very satisfied. I cannot judge scratches caused by pets or children.
