hello how and what does the DX1200 recognise from a scanned template? For example, can I draw a template on my drawing programme, print it out and scan it and the DX1200 not only recognise the outlines?

Drawing, printing and scanning is no problem, especially black and white. The other question depends on the subject. Depending on the mode, the scanner "divides" the scanned image into elements or units that it interprets as belonging together (from the outlines). If there is a gap between them, individual elements can also be deleted in the corresponding menu (e.g. the edge of a stencil). The question is what you mean by "only the outlines" and whether you want to draw or plot with the machine. It is best to download the instruction manual, which gives quite detailed information on how the machine works.

The scanner recognises the whole image. I usually do it this way - print, scan and cut. Depending on the image, the scanner does not recognise fine lines or dots. However, this only happened to me once, so I traced the line by hand and scanned it again.

hello
how and what does the DX1200 recognise from a scanned template?
For example, can I draw a template on my drawing program, print it out and scan it and the DX1200 will not just cut the outline?
