Creality Laser Falcon Engraver-5W
Hello Can it also be used to engrave metal? Does anyone have any experience?
Hello. Don't know. Still not up and running today. Can't recommend it
I haven't tried it yet, but I think the 5 W laser is too weak.
No... daa does not work
My experience was that it didn't work at all (couldn't be controlled over USB) so was a complete waste of time. Digitec customer support referred me to Creality support that that was even less useful that the product.
I have returned the device for a refund and ordered a similar product from Vevor in Germany. It arrived yesterday so I will hopefully have more luck with that over the coming weekend.
My strong recommendation would be to not buy anything from Creality.
Metal only works if the surface is anodised. But this 5W laser is weak compared to the new generation, where the light is more focussed. You can find more information on the Creality homepage.
