Question about Onkyo TX-NR7100
Hello together I have a question regarding the pre-out. If I have understood correctly, I can connect the front pre-out to an external power amplifier and then drive the two front speakers via the power amplifier. Is that correct?
You can do this, but it also seems unnecessary to me. If this is necessary for a better sound, you may have bought the wrong receiver. I'm also not sure whether this really improves the sound, especially as the whole calibration with DIRAC becomes obsolete. This is crucial for improving the sound, which has made a big difference for me. I use passive Piega speakers (only the sub is active).
Yes, this can be done, but the output is an analogue signal. Active speakers are the better solution. I have a system of Teufel speakers installed perfect sound.
