I have a problem with the WLAN performance. At the router directly I have around 700 Mbit/s via the WLAN, however, I only have around 100-150 Mbit/s even if I place the mobile phone directly next to it. How is this possible?

I have a problem with the WLAN performance. At the router directly I have around 700 Mbit/s via the WLAN, however, I only have around 100-150 Mbit/s even if I place the mobile phone directly next to it. How is this possible?

"Laying it next to you" is not necessarily the best thing to do. But apart from that, how do you test the speed?
I see the following possibilities:
a) Your mobile phone does not support the fastest possible frequency. Which device are you using?
b) QoS (Quality of Service): Your router is not giving full power to allocate bandwidth to other devices on the LAN/WLAN. Do you have other devices that are downloading something from the internet at the same time?
