It's like this. When I play music directly via Bluetooth or Spotify, the bass is not activated. But when I watch a film with my 4K Blue Ray player connected to the receiver via HDMI, it works. And it doesn't matter which surround is set. The question is whether it is a setting issue or whether the product is defective.
