Question about ASUS ZenWiFi XT8 WiFi 6 AX6600 (2 Pack)
Hello together I bought 2 of these ASUS ZenWiFi XT8 WiFi 6 AX6600 and now I have a question about connecting them to a Sunrise router. The Sunrise router has a WLAN called ABC. How do I have to configure the ASUS system now? A: The ASUS is operated in AP mode and is given a new WLAN name XYZ. B: The ASUS is operated in AP mode and is given the same WLAN name as the Sunrise router ABC. C: The ASUS is operated in AP mode and is given the same WLAN name as the Sunrise Router ABC, but the WLAN is set to OFF in the Sunrise Router. D: The ASUS is operated in repeater mode. I would be very grateful for a tip on the best configuration. Many thanks Mirko

I set the UPC Connect Box (= router) to bridge mode so that it only works as a modem. Then I connected the next Asus ZenWiFi with a LAN cable and placed the second Asus on the upper floor.
The connection worked without any problems.
By the way: I would switch off the Sunrise WLAN if I could.
I operate it in router mode and have simply connected the ASUS main device (must be observed during commissioning) with a LAN cable from my Internet provider modem to the ASUS WAN port. Of course, I gave the ASUS network its own name. I hope this helps you. LG.
