Hello Together Does this device have a LAN input? I need to get from the existing wall plug to this unit and then on to the PC, TV and PS4. Is it possible to switch cleanly between the interfaces with this device? Thank you for a short feedback. Kind regards

Helpful answer

Yes a switch needs a lan input and this has 4 outputs.

If I have understood the second question correctly, it is not necessary to switch back and forth between the interfaces because all connected devices have internet access.

Hello David,
I'm a bit late, but here's my answer: With a switch, every input is also an output, so it can do both. All 5 Ethernet ports (over which the LAN goes) have equal rights. That means you can connect the router via Ethernet to any Ethernet port in the switch, and the other four ports get Internet. Anyone can communicate with anyone via the switch. This all works fully automatically, and the switch learns which packets have to go from where to where. You don't have to switch anything.
