Question about Sonnenkönig Window kit

It depends if you have it installed like I do. I have zip ties going through the zippers to keep them tight around the ac exhaust. Of course you could always cut them off if you want to open the window. In practice, yes you can unzip it and then open the window. It might just be a bit awkward but definitely possible.
