Question about Devolo Magic 2 WiFi 6 Multiroom Kit
Hello Is this set also mesh capable? I have a Fritzbox so my question is, is it possible to continue using my wifi from the Fritzbox, i.e. to include it in the mesh? To combine the wifi or are there then two separate wifi with a different password? Otherwise I would have to use the Wifi 6 Mesh Multiroom? Thanks for the help
The new Devolos are not very friendly with other brands. I am not a specialist, but from experience I would use the same password on both devices. I don't know whether this can be called a "mesh", and I can't say for sure whether your desired receiving device will always log on to the next access point. What I was sure of was that it did not work satisfactorily with 2 systems. However, I did not have a FRITZ Box but a Swisscom Box. I then reinstalled everything. I noticed that every "specialist" said something different.
Mesh works with the same password for both wlans.
