The double-sided mounting tape holds flat objects up to 10 kg per 10 cm tape length securely on smooth, solid surfaces. It is therefore suitable for an hourglass of around 5 kg if sufficient tape length is used and the surface of the chest of drawers is smooth and firm.

To remove the tape, pull it off carefully. If any residue remains, it can be removed with a suitable adhesive remover or by heating (e.g. with a hairdryer) so as not to damage the hourglass or the surface.

It is important that the hourglass lies flat and that the surface is clean, dry and free of grease to ensure maximum adhesive strength.
