Hello, I would like to buy the "Acer Aspire XC-1785 SFF PC with Intel Core i5-14400, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 512GB SSD, Intel UHD graphics, oOS. I have two questions: 1. can I expand this PC (mainboard) with another (SECOND) SSD hard drive 2 TB? 2. Is it possible to connect a 3rd HDD via the SATA interface? Many thanks in advance for any feedback.

I bought the TC-1785 from Acer. It was a little more expensive than your suggested model at the time, but on sale and therefore only slightly more expensive. There are also different versions of mine. Advice from me: buy the best version of this PC with the best or highest values with SSD or RAM and of course with my version with i7 processor. It is and remains a multi-media PC, even in the best version. I would advise against upgrading the components with a newly purchased PC. If you want to buy a PC for gaming, then there are better ones for this purpose, which are even more expensive, because of the specially used components, which are then very expensive. MFG and greetings.

Hello
The motherboard has a total of 3 SATA ports.
1 is required for the CD-ROM drive.
1 is required if a hard disc is installed.
This leaves one port free.
Mechanically, 1 5 1/4" and a 3.5" hard disc can be installed. But there is still room for hobbyists.
I'm not sure about a second SSD (I haven't seen a slot).

Greetings AE
