Hello. I intend to install an air conditioning unit. However, it would have to be controlled via a SmartPlug which switches the device off via the solar manager when there is a PV surplus. Is this possible with Electrolux appliances? Or are there others? Kind regards

Yes, this is possible; when the power is switched on again, the air conditioner restarts with the last settings. However, this operation is not optimal for the service life. I have been using several of these devices for a number of years and initially also controlled them via Smart Plug. After 2 years, the units had to be replaced as several of them were defective. Since then I have been controlling them via infrared and have had no more problems for 4 years.
