Question about Devolo Magic 2 LAN DINrail

Hello, I have my router on the first floor and have connected phase 1 with a Devolo Magic Lan adapter and thus have Internet in the basement for the heat pump next to the distribution box. Can I also install the phase coupler if the connection is via phase 1, or does it only work with the direct Lan connection? Many thanks for your feedback

For me, it only works with a direct LAN connection. So I pulled a line from the router next to the basement and connected it to a Netgear distributor.
