Question about Poynting XPOL-2-5G
Hello, I bought this 5G antenna. Where can I find a connection adapter because, contrary to the photo, the antenna does not have a cable. The screw connector on the antenna has a diameter of 11mm and I have to connect it to an LTE modem with a diameter of 7 or 8mm, using a twin cable. thanks in advance
The part has N-male or N-female connections, your modem possibly SMA-male or SMA-female. The antenna cables (you will need two) therefore require matching N connectors on one end and probably matching SMA connectors on the other. Choose the antenna cables in a thickness that matches the length. You can also use antenna cables with N connectors on both sides and then use a short, thin and only 50cm long intermediate antenna cable with two matching N connectors on one side and connectors matching the modem on the other side for the connection to the modem.
