Question about Onkyo TX-NR696

Hello, I am looking at this unit because I would like to buy an AV receiver that has Pre OUT outputs. I saw that the Onkyo TX-NR696 has one for the subwoofer. I wonder now if I haven't understood something. I thought that this could also be used to control the speakers wirelessly with REARSTATION TX, via radio transmitters. But why is this only intended for the subwoofer?

I have connected the two rear speakers wirelessly via radio. Works perfectly. However, the subwoofer only has one cable (no audio.cinch with L+R), so I don't think this works via radio. This has nothing to do with the Onkyo, but with the rear station.

There are 2x PRE OUT which are only for the subwoofer. In addition, there is a LINE OUT for Zone 2 / Zone B. I don't know exactly what you mean by REARSTATION "TX"? You can find out how to install the Wifi boxes under Support Teufel.
