Hi Stefanie, it really is a science. It is not enough to remove the camera in the app. The dialogue to add a new device (determine the camera model and select the network) only appears if you press the reset button and then press the plus sign at the top right of the app.
In the settings (cogwheel symbol), the "Network connection" is greyed out, so tapping on it is useless.

However, it is hardly ever necessary to connect the camera to another network. In my case, the Vrb. has been stable for years.
