Hello everyone
I also bought the TRB500 because I only get 60Mbit/s with DSL and nobody can offer me a solution. My neighbour has a 10Gbit line from Swisscom. Apparently it doesn't work 20 metres away....
The question now is, how should the 4 antennas be aligned? Vertically, horizontally, pointing to all 4 sides? I live slightly elevated above a small town on a hill, if that matters.
I would prefer to install the router in the attic under the tiled roof. However, it could also be protected behind a basement window if that would be better.
I would be pleased to receive an answer. Thank you very much.
Greetings Gregor

There are a few recommendations that you should take into account for the optimal alignment of the antennas of the Teltonika TRB500 gateway:
## Antenna alignment - The four antennas should be aligned to achieve the best possible signal strength and quality. Alignment on all sides can be helpful to maximise signal coverage. Here are some tips: - Two antennas can be aligned vertically and two horizontally to ensure wide coverage.
## Installation location - The installation location of the gateway can also influence the signal quality: - A slightly elevated location, such as your attic, can be beneficial as it provides a better line of sight to the mobile phone masts. However, make sure that the antennas are not obstructed by the tiled roof. - An installation behind a basement window may also work, but it could affect the signal strength, especially if the window is made of a signal-absorbing material. It is advisable to install the router in a location that has as few obstructions as possible.
## General notes - Make sure that the antennas are at least 20 cm away from people to comply with RF exposure guidelines. - Check that the antennas are correctly connected and aligned to achieve the best signal quality.
By taking these measures, you can optimise the performance of your TRB500 gateway and ensure a stable and fast connection.
