Hello, thanks for the enquiry. Unfortunately, the so-called bass boost is not really a "crossover" or a frequency control. It only amplifies the frequencies. So "blown up" :-) I do not recommend using the bass boost control. It distorts the sound image. So leave it in the zero position (12 o'clock) and you're good to go. The actual cut-off frequency is set on the preamp or on the reciever or on the soundbar
