Question about Synology DS224+
Hello, do you need an additional holder for the 2.5" SSD in the DS224+ or is the NAS prepared for this if you buy it WITHOUT a disc?

Is only intended for 3.5 inch. For 2.5 inch adapter Synology hard drive holder
Just bought the device without HD. The empty brackets can also be used for 2.5" SDD. Screws and corresponding holes are provided. This is even described in the enclosed Quick Installation Guide
In my case, the screws were included.
I did not have a holder for 2.5" SSD in the scope of delivery.
