Hello Community, can I connect the FritzBox directly to the Swisscom network? So I could switch off the Swisscom router and handle Swisscom TV and Tele via the Fritz?
No. Under no circumstances does this Fritzbox replace the Swisscom router.
For a DSL connection, this Fritz is missing the modem. For a fibre connection, the connection is also missing or you would need a media converter upstream.
Operating Swisscom TV in such a configuration is an additional hurdle without in-depth know-how.
