Hello all, Unfortunately, I have not been able to connect my smartphone to the Nr7100 for some time now. I have set the device to factory settings several times, but without success. How should the antennas at the back of the device be aligned? Does this have anything to do with it? Many thanks for your help!

It's hard to say. Mine is connected to the mobile phone via WLAN. It has already happened twice that the receiver has logged off from the WLAN. However, the password was always saved and you only had to reactivate the Wi-Fi function to connect it and control it again with the app. In one case we had a short power cut in the house because of an electrical installation. In the second case, I don't know for sure. Otherwise, the app runs quite stable and this despite the fact that the device is placed in a relatively unfavourable position in a lowboard (with the aluminium-glass flap closed at the front). The two antennas are therefore positioned horizontally at the back of the device as supplied. Perhaps delete the app and reinstall it if the problem is on this side or switch to WLAN as the connection method if one is available.

I only briefly tried to connect the app or the smartphone via Bluetooth, but to be honest it was somehow too complicated for me (any car is easier :-) ). That's why I chose the WLAN or Wi-Fi option, which worked well. I'd still like Bluetooth, which sucks up less battery power than Wi-Fi. Maybe I'll try it after all, because if the Wi-Fi goes out for a short time, the receiver is also out. It no longer connects automatically, you have to do it manually. As already mentioned, at least the password is saved.

This link describes exactly how "Bluetooth playback" works.
I rarely need this connection myself
