Hello all I ordered this router and wanted to replace the Wingo router with it. According to many comments here, this should work without problems. Unfortunately, this is not the case for me. The WAN signal is not found. I have already searched a bit and also found entries with the same problem, but unfortunately I have not seen a solution. Has anyone had the same problem and managed to fix it?

No, you no longer need a filter. Analogue telephone is no longer in operation.

I have looked at the pin assignment, but Swisscom also uses the usual pin 3+4, so it should work if you connect an RJ11 or 12 cable directly to the socket.

I have connected the thing to an old TT83 rich socket with adapter and it works even if the installation is old.
However, the installation was then carried out as a bridge.
However, there should not be a big difference. Simply select IPoE without access data and the connection should be established.
You only have to adjust the settings for IPv6 if necessary.

Good luck

I'm not sure but if I had to guess I'll ask you in the dark if you've made the same stupid mistake that cost me at least 3 hours and the already scarcely available nerves during the set-up and I wouldn't exactly call myself a layman...

Briefly. Are you using the Swisscom DSL cable with the purple 8-pin RJ45 plug? Then you will be tempted to connect it to the WAN port of the Zyxel next to the 4 yellow LAN ports, which is not the input that the modem accesses... This is on the far right when the device is set up as shown in the picture and has an RJ12 connection where 4 of the 6 poles are occupied as with RJ11.
For this, you need a different cable to the telephone socket or, suboptimally, an adapter.
