Question about Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC-LR
Hello all. I have the following question: I have a switchboard in the basement but the router is on the ground floor. I have an Ethernet socket with RJ45 connections on the upper floor. If I buy this access point and connect it to the socket on the first floor, it should work, shouldn't it? Or do I need to make any adjustments? Greetings and thank you

it only needs a connection to the router, whether this is direct or via a switch, doesn't matter.
but please note that the access point needs a power supply.
a power supply unit and an adapter are included,
You may also need LAN cables.
Alternatively, I use a PoE switch, so I don't need a power supply at the AP directly.

Thank you very much for your input. Then I will probably take this part. I have a switch from Swisscom without PoE. But everything else is ready.
I bought this product because I was in a similar situation. Router in the basement and socket on the ground floor. You just need to do the standard configuration and everything is ok.
