Question about Synology RT6600ax

Hello all I bought the RT6600ax, because the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 after moving only with difficulty covers the whole house (in the 120m2 flat earlier also at the limit). The many reviews and tests (also very serious ones) have attested the Synology RT6600ax one of the best ranges and data throughputs in the distance. That's why I bought this router. But it is even weaker than the Nighthawk R7000. Is there something wrong with it (all transmission rates are set to high)? Thank you for your answers.

Hello, I'm a bit late, but I wanted to ask how you got on with the router replacement? I'm in the same situation. I have an R7000 and wanted to upgrade to WiFi 6E or even 7 - but I'm unsure about the model/reception. Is the Synology working well enough for you or did you have to replace it?

Unfortunately, these best router approaches are of little help in optimising reception throughout the home. This never works optimally. Instead of trying to get the best reception from a single device, it is more effective to use a mesh router system. I recommend the Xiaomi AX3000 Mesh System, it costs less than 130 Swiss francs for 2 routers with a built-in 3 x Gbit switch and can be expanded to a maximum of 10 units if necessary. The system is very powerful and supports up to 256 devices and also offers WiFi 6.
