Hello all. I have a quick question about this product: I see that a repeater gets its own SSID, but I wonder why a repeater makes sense? I can just as well set up an access point at home, can't I? If I had 4 repeaters in the house, each device would have its own SSID and I would then always have to dial the end device? Does that make sense? Thank you very much for your support.

Hi. So I have three of these things at home and they get the SSID from my access point.

I use it as a LAN access point. By default, 2 new SSIDs (for 2.4 and 5 Ghz) are set up. Simply change the SSID and password to those of the router, then it works as a network with one SSID. And Sonos etc. will also work.
