hello a Cat.7 cable with only 1 Gigabit/s specification sounds very nidrig to me. How much do you really get through the cable?

I have had cat7 installed throughout the house. The result is that when I tested the speed on my PC, I got both upload and download speeds
almost 1 GigaBit. (Swisscom fibre optic)

Hello, a Cat 7 cable can reach a speed of 40 Gbit/s over a maximum distance of 50 m and 10 Gbit/s over a maximum distance of 100 m.
What often happens is that what limits the speed is the computer's network card, which is very often limited to 1Gbit, or the provider's bandwidth.
