Has anyone tried whether the switch works with the 10 GB port on the Salt Fiber Box?

Is this switch compatible with 24/7 operation without consuming at full load and without daily control?

I didn't try the switch, but indirectly I did in so far as I simulated different maximum bandwidths on the "receiver side" with a 10Gbit mainboard. The 10Gbit LAN port of the Salt Fiber / Home Box is "autonegotiating". In other words, it adjusts itself to the receiver, be it 1Gbit, 2.5Gbit (like the switch here) or 10Gbit. So it should most likely work. 2.5Gbit is also a good compromise, as the internet normally rarely (if ever) offers more in terms of "public" channels.

Theoretically, it should work. I am connected to a 10GB port on a Netgearswitch and one is connected to a Buffalo 10GB switch. Why don't you just equip the network with a 10GB switch? Then it's done for the next 15 years.
