Question about FRITZ! Box 5530 Fiber
Has anyone tried using the box with Wingo 1 Gbit/s? I have been running the 5490 for a while and would like to know if I can switch to the 5530.

Tried it? Yep, it's been working for me for years without any problems. Net data throughput is between 890 and 940 MBit.
Works perfectly
I haven't tried it yet, but the Fritzbox runs so well that it's almost not worth getting any more power out of it.

if the FRITZ!Box 5490 is operated directly on a fibre optic connection, the FRITZ!Box 5530 Fiber can also be used on this connection.
The FRITZ!Box 5530 can be adapted to AON and GPON fibre optic networks (fibre to the home, FTTH) with an SFP plug-in module and can therefore be used on almost all fibre optic connections in Europe and establish Internet connections of up to 1 Gbit/s (AON), 2.5 Gbit/s (GPON) or 10 Gbit/s (XGS-PON).
