Good morning, unfortunately I'm a beginner😏 ... do you need a second generation cloud key for the camera to work? Normal ones don't work? Can I then receive notifications via the app when someone enters the camera's monitoring field? Thank you very much and have a nice day.

The Cloud Key 1 does not contain the actual camera server "Unifi Protect" or NVR. The cameras can therefore not be operated with this Cloud Key. Unless you have or buy an external NVR (Network Video Recorder), e.g. UVC-NVR, UVC-NVR-2TB...
The great thing about Cloud Key 2 Plus is that it contains all two instances: Unifi Network Management, Unifi Protect. Important: The Cloud Key 2 (without Plus) does not include HD and does not include Unifi Protect. The surcharge for the Cloud Key 2 Plus with NVR function is ridiculous, the added value enormous.

Once everything is nicely set up, you can define any motion zones or private zones in the field of view of each camera. You can then define whether you should be notified of an event by push message or email.
In my case, this works very reliably.
