Question about Samsung Jet Bot VR8000

This does not work, the maximum height a robot hoover can climb is determined by the height of the front bumper measured from the floor. There is not a single robot hoover that can climb more than approx. 2.5 cm. And this is also suboptimal, because such a robot hoover would also climb onto other objects, swing chairs are always relatively problematic, lamp bases too. I wouldn't buy this robot hoover, because you can get something like this for 250 francs in top quality. And from the height of the bumper measured from the floor, I would estimate that it is hardly more than 2 cm.

Alternatively, I recommend the Xiaomi Dreame Bot L10 Pro (with 3D object recognition) or then a Xiaomi Dreame D9 (for only 250, which is as good as a model for 400 francs, but just incredibly cheap), which are both excellent robots that are available for less than 400 francs. If the best robot hoover was desired, it was and still is the Roborock S6 MaxV, which has 3D object recognition that works with cameras. But: none of them can reach more than about 1.8 to 2 cm without ramps. Instead of installing ramps, you could also simply place them over the threshold for cleaning, then a ramp on both sides, both parts connected over the threshold so that they don't slip away. Collect them again after cleaning. But since the Dreame D9 only costs 245 francs and does everything just as well if not better than a Samsung, at that price you could also buy two robots and then just use them in the area in front of and behind the threshold.

The Dreame robots have a 0.55 l dust container and the Roborock S6 MaxV has a 0.46 l dust container.
