Good evening. In 2024, which amplifier would be best suited to these speakers?
We have had good experiences with the Denon AVR-X2800H DAB.
Hello,
It depends a great deal on your needs, so a bit of context would help to focus the answer. However, this kit is very standard and therefore versatile.
To be able to use all the speakers in this kit as intended, your amplification system must be capable of outputting at least 5.1 channels, which is the case with the overwhelming majority of AV receivers.
As suggested by Noa Von der Crone, Denon's X2800H is a reputable reference, quite suitable, and compatible with most of the latest audio and video standards. I personally use the model just above Denon's 'X-Series' (X3800H), but the entry-level model (X1800H) also does the job. It all depends on the number of devices you want to connect and your future expansion plans.
Whatever the case, you'll probably need an AV receiver. Personally, and for ease of use, I'd be happy to explore models from the most popular brands in this field, such as Denon, Yamaha, Onkyo, etc.
Here are a few key points to help you make your selection (taking into account future developments in your installation):
- How many devices and what type will be connected to the amplifier
- Do you need video inputs on the receiver?
- Will you be adding extra speakers in the future?
- What are the specifications of your TV?
- Use of the latest generation games console connected to the receiver (PS5 / Xbox Series X)?
- Integrated radio tuner?
