Question about Teltonika RUTX50
Good day I put my RUTX50 into operation and tested it weeks ago. Wifi fishing ok. Data transfer from iPad and Ipohn tiptop. Now on holiday nothing works. During Wifi fishing. Sometimes there is only a short English error message. That I can only have one other device on the interface. Several times shortly after the scan. I fly out of the website and have to log in again. If I could then fish a Wifi on the camping site and everything is set to connect, I get no data on the IPhone and iPad. Direct connection with the IPhone to the wifi works within seconds without any problem. But not with the X50. Exactly the same now on another campsite. Mobile data transmission works. As written at home everything worked as it should. Anybody got an idea ? Kind regards Hermann
Hoi - Stupid question: The WiFi on the campsite: Is it a normal one with SSID and password, if yes, do you know which WPA (WPA2 AES...?)? Or is it one of those: Must enter a code (from a cash register)?
Or, in another way: you are presented with a web page and have to enter the password there (instead of in the WifiSettings) (the last two would be a Wifi with MAC and firewall rules on the campsite infrastructure). Have you tried using the notebook to see if you can access the campsite network?
If it's a "website" WiFi network, it's a bit more difficult... (then you could try Mac-Faking...). At home you have a WiFi with PSK, right?
Or, in another way: you are presented with a web page and have to enter the password there (instead of in the WifiSettings) (the last two would be a Wifi with MAC and firewall rules on the campsite infrastructure). Have you tried using the notebook to see if you can access the campsite network?

Current status
I found a Pc supporter and reset the rutx50 to factory settings and reconfigured it with the installation wizard.
Now I can fish but I get the following error message on all the websites I want to call up
"Page cannot be opened because Safari could not establish a secure connection to the server".
And after the wifi scan I keep losing the admin website because my iPad loses the connection to the rutx50. I can only dial the hotspot. After that I have no way to view the parameters let alone change anything. Because I keep getting kicked out.
So I'm fed up.
It can't be that you sell such a high quality and complex router without a decent support...
Yes, I have already sent Teltonika a support request twice. No answer as a result.

It only catches the wiffi and passes it on
and passes it on amplified, so I don't suspect a router function but only amplification. Surprises me too. I use the router in my caravan with mobile data. I once had a directional antenna with a built-in router from tp link with which it worked as you imagine it could also be integrated via the wan port.
