Question about Samsung Hw-K470

Good day I have a Samsung TV (ue-49ku6170) which does not have Bluetooth support. Can I still connect the system to this TV via Toslink (optical audio) and will it work perfectly afterwards? The description says that the system is for selected TVs, what does that mean for me? Kind regards
