Good day Can you please explain to me what the difference is between the Devolo Powerline Mesh WiFi 2 and the Devolo Magic 2 WiFi next and what advantage this difference brings? Many thanks Kind regards, Thomas Köhli

The difference seems to be that with mesh all devices are WIFI capable, with WIFI next the base unit next to the router is not. From Devolo's website:

The difference between devolo Mesh WiFi and devolo Magic sets:

The devolo Mesh WiFi set consists exclusively of WLAN devices to replace your existing router WLAN with a pure mesh network.

Especially with older routers, you get a performance boost because your end devices are no longer throttled by outdated router WLAN. This means you no longer switch between the router's WLAN and that of the adapters. Instead, you are always seamlessly connected to the strongest access point without the connection data changing.
