Does anyone have any experience of whether or not the Fritz!Box 5590 Fibre runs on a Sunrise connection today?
Just as a general note: This Fritz! box can also only allow a maximum of 2.5 Gbit/s (only on a single port!) of data traffic to/from the outside. In other words, a maximum of a quarter of the Sunrise subscription speed. Please don't be surprised if you pay for 10 Gbit/s, but your own router can only technically process 25% of it. As of the end of 2023, there is no Fritz!Box that technically allows 10 Gbit/s.

Here you can find the end devices currently certified by Swisscom: https://www.swisscom.ch/de... (Help documents -> ...proved-Equipment.pdf). The last update is from 28.10.2022, where e.g. the FritzBox 5530 was newly included, the 5590 is unfortunately still missing.

The same problem with Wingo/Swisscom. Ordered the XGS-PON adapter from AVM for €75. Tried to contact Swisscom, no answer.

According to an "expert" at Sunrise, the box would be capable without further ado, but the box is too new and has not yet been tested and verified by Sunrise. Weak, at least that there is no alternative to the tower from them.

I am also in the same case:
I have a Sunrise connection that runs at 10 Gbit. the Fritzbox 5590 only runs at 1 Gbit. according to Sunrise, this is not possible.
I also bought the modem for the cat.
Maybe Sunrise will reconsider the connection of the fritzbox 5590.
It is unfortunate that the modem is sold in Switzerland and then does not work.
I bought it at Digitec.

I have the Fritzbox, but unfortunately I can't help because we use it in South Africa on a fibre connection. Works fine here.
